It's a scary season !

With Halloween just aroud the corner the US and Canada have issued stamps with a scarry theme. The US issue will be released on September 30 at Universal Studios, Universal City, Calif. The stamps will depict five of the monsters we love to be scared by. The Phantom of the Opera, Dracula, Frankenstein, The Mummy, and Wolf Man will grace the stamps.



Not to be out done Canada is realeasing a block of four stamps depicting a vampire, a werewolf, a ghost, and a goblin. The Canadian stamps are due on Oct 1.



Other countries are also realeasing stamps with the same theme. Most notable are Jersey,Britain, and Yugoslavia.

By the way
I thought only dead people could be used on stamps and we all know the monsters above are all members of the un-dead.
